Online comments after Leinster v Scarlets

A selection of the “keyboard warrior” reactions after the full-time whistle of our featured matches of the weekend.

Chris McDonnell All 13 Forwards were fantastic we are blessed to have such a talented group of people. The backs are a different story. When henshaw comes back Ringrose will be in trouble unless he seriously gets his act together. Ross plays 10 like a 35 year old junior 3 GAA footballer. Obrien doesn't make good decisions. Great result and again the forwards were very good.

Paul Smith How good was that to watch ? Leinster were simply rampant and could have won by a much bigger margin. In fairness to Scarlets, they showed some nice touches but Leinster were in a different class today. The set piece was excellent scrum, lineout and maul but some of handling, offloading and running in open play was just breathtaking. VDF, Conan, Porter were superb as was pretty much everyone but great to see one of the few non internationals in Frawley scooping a well deserved MOM. It probably won't be too long before he dons the green jersey too. All in all a very enjoyable way to spend a Saturday evening.

Noel Hewson Much better and what I expected from a very strong starting team. Plenty of offloads and some good line breaks. Would like to see the backs finish off some moves. The tight 5 is very dominant in the league but they will need more in Europe.Johnny still makes the team tick but we need more from Ringrose et al.

Conor Cronin Forwards were excellent tonight, but the backs need a kick start. All forwards tries for leinster proves that. With that said there's not a lot wrong with an offloading running game...

Ronan McManus Thoroughly enjoyed that one. Backs looked sharper this week and definitely meshed better than I've seen recently. The forward display was world class. Seven (the penalty try was the pack) tries by the forwards and five in the front row. Every one of them carried over the gainline multiple times.

Lorcán Murphy Bad news for the rest of the league. Leinster are getting motoring and will only get better

Anton Phelan Dan Sheehan is going to be some player for both Leinster and Ireland

Tony Joyce Kick on from here, Leinster have to be cleaner than white to referee's due to them being the standard, so keep the penalty count down. C'mon leinster ffs

John Hyland Dan Sheehan wasn't bad at all.

David Ryle Was fearing a backlash from scarlets and with them getting the first few scores it looked like we were going to have a long evening.

Many thanks to all who offered opinions.

Look out Monday for our match writeup JLP
