Online comments after Leinster v Connacht

A selection of the “keyboard warrior” reactions after the full-time whistle of our featured matches of the weekend.

Neil Keegan Great result, we need to watch ourselves though. People leaving early and talking nonsense doesn’t help
It wasn’t always like this! Do you not remember Matt O’Connor

Liz Power (reply) OMG completely agree. Missed a conversion at half time and full time (or should I say at around 35 mins and 70 mins) because numpties has to get to the bar #pethate

Richard Mifsud The joy of having plenty of competition (and depth) in pretty much every department is what was on show today. This was one way traffic and thankfully we didn’t switch off as we did versus Ulster. Connacht provided very little apart from pluck riddled as they are with injuries so I couldn’t begrudge them their try. Pretty pissed off at the hordes leaving with a whole quarter to go TBH that’s just ridiculous and disrespectful. Highlights for me Rhys, Deegan, Luke, Joe Tomane and Garry. On to Europe again #COYBIB

Chris McDonnell I said mcgrath needed to speed things up and he sure did. Fantastic rugby and frawley placed a reminder of just how good he can be. Joe T was my man of the match

Conor Cronin I love watching Leinster. Stingy defense, quality attack, cracking rugby. We were less effective 2nd half but with the BP sealed within a half hour it's not that worrying.

I agree with keego. If you're gonna be there, be there. Don't leave early. Don't disrespect the team by walking out with as much as 20 minutes to go. It makes the genuine supporters look bad

Andrew Potts Very good play both sides of the ball by Leinster

Jamie Bond Leinster have put 96 pts passed Connacht to Connachts 18 this season. To average 48-9 😬. Even with a full squad to choose from Connacht would struggle as neither game were Leinster near full strength either. Clearly Connacht have a lot of squad strengthening and deepening to do to compete over a season on both fronts.

Kathryn Keegan Best 40 minutes of the season

Paul Smith Job done after 20 minutes, some excellent displays but one again I though Tomane had another really impressive game. He's really starting to bed in nicely this season and it's great to see the injury didn't change that. Another weekend, another BP win another 50 plus on the scoreboard . Cant ask for much more than that.

DeeDee O'Malley Another amazing display by Leinster

Cormac Mannion Scary stuff. Bonus point before the 20min mark. Is that the quickest ever in the league?
Apart from that, they eased up after half time but still looked comfortable. The amount of talent coming through is frightening

Sharon Murphy Epic

Dave Murray Excellent again by Leinster before the two European games. I hope Ryan's injury isn't too bad and that he's ok for the at least one of the European games to keep him ticking over before the 6 Nations.

Willy Brennan Some beautiful rugby tonight.

Noel Hewson No matter what team is put out there every guy is playing at a high level. Hardest part might be keeping it going for the whole season

Kevin Kelehan Connacht need to deepen their squad

Brian Kavanagh Ruthless efficiency in first half
Competition for all spots in the team are driving Leinster to heights way above the Pro14.
Hope Lyon put up a bit of a game next week.
Agree people leaving are disgrace

Chris Costello Great result again

Henry Sellars The minis should have played the 2nd half for the lads.

John P. FitzGerald (reply) I don’t think the North Meath U12S would have being able , they were too excited having met some of their Leinster Heroes before the match . Massive thanks to Leinster Rugby for hosting our U12S today , it does not get much better for any boy or girl than to play in the RDS at half time .

Many thanks to all who offered opinions.

Look out Monday for our match writeup JLP
