Ground it out. Surprised Cronin for motm with dodgy darts. Backplay looked slick at times, just couldn't quite capitalize. Onwards to Ulster.
If I had to collect money from someone and could only take two players from the #LEIvCON game, it'd be @johnmuldoon8 and @Scottfardy. pic.twitter.com/2TflUCL7fh— J Wood (@mxyzplx) January 1, 2018
It was always going to be tough but we deserved the win (Just !). Fair play to Connacht, they deserved something from the game and played the conditions well but just came up short against a determined Leinster team. Max Deegan was MOTM for me, took his try well and great turnover to win it at the end. 2 big wins in the inter pro's this week, let's make it 3 from 3 next game.

Tough game made harder by poor decision making in second half with wind at our backs. The officials especially linesman on Anglesey side in second half (Humphreys?) a bit one eyed or probably blind altogether. Wonder why he is given a flag at all.

Lucky I'd say but good to get the win

Big five minutes of defence at the end. Probably left a couple of scores out there but Connacht played well and will feel a bit unlucky not to have got a win. Leinster’s line out issues need to be fixed ahead of the big European games or it could be costly.

Nervy towards the end, tremendous defensive performance in the last five minutes to grind it out

That was serious stuff. The win was never in doubt!!! Well done @leinsterrugby #LEIvCON https://t.co/V74wFadTRD— Killian Byrne (@killianbyrne) January 1, 2018
The boys from the West always play us hard but 2/2 so far over Christmas with squad rotation as good as it gets. Strong defense which great. Bring on Ulster so we can make it 3/3 & 14pts hopefully.
A game plan that gives Ringrose about 3 touches is not one I'm a fan of— Colm Ho Ho hO'Donoghue (@ColmODonoghue) January 1, 2018
Good win for a somewhat dishevelled Leinster team with a lot of key players missing against a full strength Connacht. Can't really ask for more than that.
Josh van der Flier made 31 tackles.Incredible.

Great defence by Leinster, again. Another great back row performance. Fair play to Connacht, they played some great rugby.
This Christmas run of interpros keeps on giving. Leinster defend 28 phases for 5 mins, 30 secs to edge Connacht after a belting game— Rúaidhrí O'Connor (@RuaidhriOC) January 1, 2018
Funny how we pick MotM ... Cronin couldn't do hi basics .. Throwing in but made a few runs .. Derham had a good game & McGrath had a very good all round game but just read some stats that VDF made 31 tackles in the game & doesn't even get a mention
It wasnt our day at the RDS today but boy did we play some excellent Rugby. Well played lads 👌 @connachtrugby #Connachtrugby #LEIvCON— Sabena (@SabenaMoylan) January 1, 2018
Like the look of Lowe, he seems to enjoy the rough and tumble of the game, some superb breaks and off loads, he will only get better for us
Just catching #LEIvCON game... what a finish. Need a stiff drink after that. Heart in the mouth stuff but great to see such intensity from both sides. As always. @leinsterrugby— Ciara Gillan (@CiaraGillan) January 1, 2018
Reading back through the Ultimate Rugby readout as I couldn’t watch it, it would seem my blood pressure may have been spared going to warp factor 8 if I’d watched it 😱. Reading some comments it seems the Westies wouldn’t have been flattered had they come away with the W. Glad we won but this augurs well for the national team

For the team selected, well done lads.
I felt we (Connacht) did enough for long spells, but ultimately missing kicks again cost us. Good off loading from Leinster as well as the line speed in defence and the ref was "lenient " as regards the penalty count.
That said, good game fair play Leinster.

Only could listen on radio since on car journey but was really hoping that Connacht would at least try a drop kick to grab a draw . I feel Leinster put our a strong enough team so a losing bonus is ok
A finish not good for the heart but what a set of Leinster goal line tackling, not just at the end. Tough on Connacht possibly deserved more. #COYBIB #LEIvCON— Harpin' On Rugby 🏉 (@HarpinOnRugby) January 1, 2018
