Good patience and clinical. Still some areas to improve upon though. Tougher tests to come. Good start and on to the next match. All you can do in a tournament really. Well pleased with that and I don't think the score flatters us. I liked the intensity at the breakdown that was lacking in the warm ups. Enough said a damned fine day at the office #COYBIG
Decent ould start, all things considered. Ruled out an '07 repeat for one thing. #IREvCAN

Even better than the score suggests in my opinion. The fundamentals were totally dominant and totally controlled. Defence was rock solid; set piece was comfortable; attack was vastly improved.
Not too worried about the conceded try. It was a silly intercept, but the important thing is that our defence didn't concede a point.
Only concern is how long it seems to take us to adjust to the referee's interpretation of the breakdown. We shouldn't really be conceding penalties at that rate that late in the game. Discipline needs work.
Other than that; very pleasing. Job done. On to the next one
Thoroughly satisfied. Bench brought a bit of impact too. Lots to be encouraged by. Henderson could be a star of the tournament.

Hendo was awesome so was Luke Fitz. Other than that job done. Good start. Sexton looks like he could really turn it on at any point
@HarpinOnRugby That was an amazing performance. Bodes well for the rest of the pool games. #RugbyUnited

Great start will be great for the confidence - Henderson MOTM for me

@HarpinOnRugby What's not to love about that scoreline ;)

50 points, bonus point win, 7 tries, game time for those in need, and some issues needing work. Bearing in mind the opposition (10 amateurs), quite a good start with hopefully even better to come.
Get in there!! Opening round win v #Can A 7-try performance from #Ire to win 50-7 in Cardiff. #RWC2015 #ShoulderToShoulder

Fitz, Hendo, Sexton, Best and POM all excellent. POM MOTM for me.
Really heartened by Luke's performance too, gives us a serious option if Henshaw is injured.
Direct quotes from a 'fan' during the week:
'Fitzgerald is not team player, every break he makes he runs away from support and either loses the ball or holds on until he gives away a penalty.'
'Luke is a can’t pass won’t pass kinda guy, runs away from support'
I think that was proven conclusively wrong today, particularly for DK try.

Sean Cronin would make a great NFL running back #MuscleHamster

Good win v average opposition. Some good lines, good attack and good defence. Earls was particularly impressive
Early days, a base to build from.
Nothing to get overly excited about. 7 weeks is a long time
Great to finally see some moves from the Schmidt playbook. They looked like Leinster in their glory days, superb running and passing.
George Hook: We had a very bad second half against a third rate nation and we can't dismiss that #IRE #RWC2015

5 points, seemingly clean bill of health, job done. Even Hooky can't find fault. Wait, what am I saying? #COYBIG
